Henry A. Lepper Jr., 84 of Huntertown, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1929 in Fort Wayne to the late Henry C. and Mary K. (Gick) Lepper Sr. He married Bonnie L. Flynn on October 6, 1951 in Fort Wayne and she survives in Huntertown. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a carpenter for Grewe Contractors for 45 years, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Our Hope Lutheran Church in Huntertown, Local 232 Carpenters Union and former longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne. He is also survived by a son, Daniel L. (Julie) Lepper of Fort Wayne; 2 daughters, Patricia A. (Daryl) Butler of Fort Wayne and Tamra K. (Mark) Hoffman of Fort Wayne; 2 grandsons, Jordan Lepper of Indianapolis and Daric Lepper of Bloomington, IN; a granddaughter, Erin Butler of Muncie; a great grandson, Zephaniah McQuay Lepper of Fort Wayne and a sister, Betty Thiem of Fargo, ND. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Raymond, Reinhold and Erwin "Bud" Lepper and a sister, Luella Etter. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16 from 5-7 p.m. at Our Hope Lutheran Church, 1826 Trinity St., Huntertown, IN 46748 and from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, January 17. The funeral will follow at the church at 10:12 a.m. with Pastor Joe Fichtner officiating. Burial will follow in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery.
