GARRETT — Hilary L. (Smith) Taylor, 43 of Garrett was called home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2017.

Hilary was born on March 30, 1974 to Ron and Chris (Creager) Smith of Garrett. Hilary was married to Dana Taylor on July 5, 1997 in Johnson City, Tennessee

. She is survived by her husband, Dana, children Casey & Ariana Taylor, parents Ron & Chris Smith, sister Lindsey (Smith) Klopfenstein, grandmother Bonnie Creager, many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by grandparents- Esther and John Smith, Wayne Creager, and mother-in-law Nell Taylor.

Hilary was a member of the First Church of Christ in Garrett, Indiana. Hilary held many offices for the Garrett Encore show choir. She loved her job at Children's First Center, loved to read, sing, and spending time with her family. Hilary will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Hilary's body was donated to science to help others, as that was the type of person she was, and how she lived her life. A Celebration of life service will be held at the Garrett First Church of Christ – 213 E. King St., Garrett on Saturday June 24 at 2 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be given to family for Casey and Ariana's college fund.
