Hilda M. Boren, 90 of Garrett, IN and formerly of Huntertown, IN; died on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Garrett. She was born June 18, 1919 in Monroeville, IN to Edna Leninngton. She was married to Lester F. Boren and he died in 1973. She was a Nurses Aide at Bryon Health for 17 years. Hilda is survived by two sons; Larry Boren of LaOtto, IN and James Boren of Huntertown, IN; a half brother, Harold "Bud" Baulvelt of Monroeville, IN and a half sister, Carolyn Steven of Van Wert, OH. Also survivng are 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, with calling 1 hour prior. Burial will follow in Huntertown Cemetery.
