Irma M. Knapp age 80 of Batesville, IN and formerly of Garrett, IN died at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at the Waters of Batesville Nursing Home. Irma was born August 15, 1930 in Garrett, IN to Fred W. and Christine (Gallmeyer) Stoll and they preceded her in death. She married Elden R. Knapp on May 2, 1948 in Garrett and he died April 4, 1990. Irma worked in sales at the Garrett Hardware for 10 years. She was a member of the Garrett American Legion Auxiliary and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garrett. Irma is survived by her daughter and son in-law: Kristina "Tina" and Brian Pickens, Sunman, IN and a son and daughter in-law: Kevin and Susan Knapp, Carmel Valley, CA She is also survived by her grandson: Adam C. Knapp, Chico, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents: Fred W. and Christine Stoll, husband: Elden R. Knapp, 2 brothers: Walter Stoll and Leroy Stoll, and a sister: Alma Woodcock. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church - Garrett, IN. with services to take place at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Horn officiating.
