Jacob Duane Blevins age 80 of Auburn, IN died Monday, November 26, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor – Garrett, IN. Jacob was born July 3, 1938 in Auburn, IN to George and Marge (Davis) Blevins. He married Edna Ramey on May 16, 1988 in Auburn, IN and she died September 26, 2014. Jacob worked in the paint shop at Riecke Corporation – Auburn, IN, retiring after 40 years.

Jacob is survived by his daughters: Lana Ott, Wexford, PA; Amy Van Horn, Auburn, IN; son: Steven Blevins, Auburn, IN; sister: Barbara Phillips, Auburn, IN and a grandson: Alex Ott.

Jacob was preceded in death by his parents: George and Marge Blevins; wife: Edna Blevins, daughter: Kathie Chastain; son: Jason Blevins; brothers: James Blevins, Richard Blevins and Jerry Blevins.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 2-6 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN

There will be no services.

Burial will take place at a later date in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN.
