Jacob Fred Kell of Huntertown, Indiana July 30, 1935 - October 4, 2014 Jacob "Fred" F. Kell, age 79, of Huntertown, IN died on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born July 30, 1935 in Huntertown to the late Jacob F. and Elsa (Aden) Kell. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was a water well driller and owner of Kell Drilling Inc. since 1960. He married Eula M. Freeman on October 12, 1963 in Garrett and she survives in Huntertown. Fred was a member of the First Church of Christ in Garrett, NRA, Indiana Ground Water Assoc. and Indiana Water Well Assoc. Also surviving are two daughters, Lisa and Tim Pfefferkorn of Jonesboro, TN and Lana and Mark Frey of Waterloo; two sons, Eric and Christina Kell of Huntertown and Nathan Kell of Huntertown; a sister, Ann and Russell Lyon of Huntertown; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Victor F. Kell. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the First Church of Christ in Garrett, with Br. Bud Owen officiating. A military graveside service will follow in Huntertown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
