Jacqueline Sue Baker age 80 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her home. She was born August 12, 1935 in Butler, IN to Robert A. Brunson and Ilah Marie (McCrory) Brunson. She married Ray D. Baker and he died in 1993. Jacqueline worked for Hamilton Standard - Auburn, IN and retired from Coldwell General. She was a member of the First Baptist Church - Garrett, IN. Jacqueline was a loving and gracious mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Jacqueline is survived by 2 daughters: Terri L. (Richard) Shilling, Garrett, IN; Robin M. Simpsons, Hicksville, OH; son: Jeffery E. Sproat, Garrett, IN; 5 grandchildren: Jamie (Matt) Shenk, Garrett, IN; Nathan (Sonya) Shilling, Woodburn, IN; Justin Schlatter, St. Joe, IN; Tabatha Schlatter, St. Joe, IN; and Jared (Courtney Wisel) Sproat, Garrett, IN. 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Cynthia Lee Warner, Auburn, IN; Crystal Kay Hollinger, Garrett, IN; Bobbie Jo Fretz; 5 brothers: Randy Brunson, Dan Brunson, Mark Brunson, Tracey Brunson and Tim Brunson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ray D. Baker; father: Robert A. Brunson; mother: Ilah M. Wasson; wonderful father that adopted her: Howard E. Robbins; sister: Agatha Jo Brunson and brother Sterling Keith Robbins I. A calling in of friends and family will take place from 10 - 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church - Garrett, IN. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. David Mix officiating.
