James F. Codling age 80 of Garrett, IN died at 9:40 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2009. He was born October 1, 1928 in Portland, IN to Walter and Luella (Glesnor) Codling. He married Reva F. Williams in 1951. James served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a salesman for Kraft Foods. Survivors include: Wife - Reva Codling, Garrett, IN Son - Skip Codling, Garrett, IN Son - Bob Codling, Fort Wayne, IN Brother - Joe Codling Sisters - Wanda and Carol Jean 7 Grandchildren 19 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home, with calling from 5-6 p.m.
