James William Frost Sr. age 75 of Garrett, died on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born July 1, 1937 in Willard, OH to the late Alson and Rita (Breyman) Frost. He worked at Bohn Aluminum in Butler for 38 years, before his retirement in 2008. He was a member of the Garrett Eagles and Auburn Elks. He is survived by 4 sons, Michael Frost of Auburn, Neal Frost of Auburn, James (Jr.) Frost of Garrett and Brian Frost of Garrett; a daughter, Lucinda Fairchild of Garrett; sisters, Judy "Snook" Hershiger of Willard, OH and Carol Signs of Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Alson, Richard and David Frost. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 7 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Garrett. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to the DeKalb County Humane Society
