James Albert Roark age 58 of Garrett, IN died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. James was born August 15, 1963 in Decatur, Georgia to David and Naomi (Lawson) Roark. James was a semi-driver and was a United States Army veteran.

He was a member of the Garrett American Legion Post#178

James is survived by his son: James Albert (Rebecca) Roark III, Waterloo, IN; 2 grandsons: Trevor Roark, Fort Richardson, Anchorage, AK; Attollon Robert Roark, Waterloo, IN; 2 brothers: Henry (Teresa) Roark, Angola, IN; William (Janet) Roark, Auburn, IN; 2 sisters: Patricia Clemons, Garrett, IN; Noessa Johnsonbaugh, Hicksville, OH.

James was preceded in death by his son: Attollon Hanna-Womack.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at the Garrett American Legion Post #178, 515 W. 5th Ave, Garrett, IN

Military honors by the United States Army and the Garrett American Legion will take place at 5:30 p.m.
