Jane A. Norris age 88 of Garrett, IN died at 6:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor – Garrett, IN. Jane was born January 3, 1930 in Fort Wayne, I to Virgil M. and Mary (Justinger) Brown. She married Jay W. Norris on September 9, 1955 in Fort Wayne, IN and he died April 16, 2001.

Jane was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN; Harvest House, St. Martin's Soup Kitchen and St. Martin's Clothes Closet.

Jane is survived by her son: William Norris, Garrett, IN

Jane was preceded in death by her husband: Jay W. Norris; parents: Virgil M. and Mary Brown; 2 brothers: Ernie Brown and Russell Brown; 2 sisters: Bonnie Holycross-McClellan and Mary A. Beam.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN with Fr. Jim Shafer officiating.

Visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN. A Rosary Service will take place at 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Visitation will also take place from 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Garrett, IN

Burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN

Memorials are to St. Martin's Soup Kitchen or St. Martin's Clothes Closet.
