Janice K. Bly June 11, 1945 - February 10, 2012 Janice K. Bly, age 66 of Garrett, IN, died at 10:47 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 11, 1945 in Garrett to Loren L. and Rosalie (Taylor) Shafer and they preceded her in death. She married Richard Cordes on April 12, 1963 and he survives in Port Orange, FL. She married her 2nd husband Reynolds Bly on December 24, 1999 and he died in 2005. She was an assembler at Magnavox in Garrett and Columbia City for 20 years. Janice is survived by her son, John (Lisa) Cordes of Garrett and 2 daughters, Anna (Scott) Dilts of Sumter, SC and Amy (Chris) Graham of Garrett; 2 step-sons, Don Bly of Auburn and Chad Bly of OH; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Gary Shafer of Midland, MI and a sister, Patricia Shafer of Whitehouse, OH. The funeral service will held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. in Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to D.A.R.T.
