Janice Lynn Short age 71 of Garrett, IN passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at The Laurels of DeKalb – Butler, IN. Janice was born April 14, 1953 in Auburn, IN to Franklin Edward and Mildred J. (Ely) Rottger.
Janice was a babysitter most of her life- moving to Garrett from Kentucky in 2018.
She is survived by 3 sisters:: Connie Brown, Garrett, IN; Janet Zimmerman, Butler, IN; Linda Wiliford, Auburn, IN ; brother: Richard Rottger, Auburn, IN; Nieces: Misty Roush, Garrett, IN; Jeannie Brown, Garrett, IN and several great nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents: Franklin Edward and Mildred J. Rottger, husband: Edward Short; 2 brothers: Edward Rottger and Robert Rottger.
