Jeffery Allen Caywood age 49 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Garrett. He was born March 21, 1967 in Garrett, IN to Dale Caywood and Marilyn (Payton) Caywood. He married Michelle R. Millet on June 12, 1992 in Albion, IN and she survives in Garrett. Jeffery worked as head of maintenance at Indian Springs Campground. Jeffery was a member of the NAPA (National American Pool Association), APA (American Pool Association), Grandsons of the American Legion - Post#178 and the Garrett Eagles. Jeffery is survived by his wife: Michelle Caywood, Garrett, IN; mother: Marilyn (Bill) Helmick, Auburn, IN; father: Dale (Linda) Caywood, Wolcottville, IN; son: William "Will" Caywood, Garrett, IN; brother: Mike Helmick, Garrett, IN; sister: Deb Deetze, Auburn, IN and 3 step sisters: Sherri, Marie and Wanda. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from Noon - 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN Services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home with Dick Shilling officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery - rural Garrett. Memorials are to the family to assist with expenses.
