Jo Hummell age 77 for Auburn, IN died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Parkview DeKalb – Auburn, IN. Jo was born February 13, 1944 in Reading, MI to Raymond R. and Mary M. (Berry) McClelland and they preceded her in death. Jo married Kenneth W. Hummell on December 8, 1991 in Albion, IN. She had worked as an accountant at G& L Corporation in Ft. Wayne, IN before retiring in 2006.

Jo is survived by her husband: Ken W. Hummell, Auburn, IN; daughter: Debbie (Jason) Combs, Ft. Wayne, IN; son: Jeff (Tonja) Ashton, Ft. Wayne, IN; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Mary Lamming, Defiance, OH and Sharon Ashton, Ortonville, MI.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.
