John A. Cummins Jr. age 64 of Garrett, IN died Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Parkview-DeKalb, Auburn, IN. John was born May 6, 1956 in Columbus, IN to John A. and Mary J. Cummins Sr. John had taught at the Anthis Career center in Ft. Wayne many years ago. He was a United States Navy veteran and a member of the Garrett American Logion Post# 178.

John is survived by his daughter and son in-law: Aileen and Jason Klinger, Garrett, IN; 2 sisters: Diane Rick, Columbus, IN and Denisa Mallot, Mountain View, AR; and 4 grandchildren.

As per his wish – John will be cremated and will be buried in Columbus, IN.
