John M. Freeze, 92 of Garrett, IN died on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Miller's Merry Manor in Garrett, IN. He was born on March 29, 1915 in Garrett, IN to John M. and Florence (Hite) Freeze. He married Genevieve "Jenny" Reavis on June 3, 1937 in Garrett, IN and she died May 8, 2002. He owned and operated Freeze Television in Garrett for 25 years, retiring in 1980. He was a HAMM Radio Operator (W9LOW) and was a member of the Michigan Fiddlers Association. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 and from 10 - 11 a.m. Friday December 28, 2007 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN. The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, Decemebr 28, 2007 at Thomas Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Russ Howard and burial will follow in Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett, IN. Memorials are to DeKalb Memorial Home Health and Hospice.
