John W. Haag age 100 died Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Garrett, IN John was born April 28, 1915 to Ezra and Ida Edith (Kitchen) Haag and they preceded him in death. He married Violet Marie Heitz on April 26, 1941 in Wawaka, IN and she died 23 years ago to the day. John was a millwright at Dana - Auburn, IN for 30 A½ years, retiring in 1974 John is survived by 2 daughters: Mary Ellen Haag and Rose Marie Haag, both of Garrett, IN John was preceded in death by his parents: Ezra and Ida Edith Haag, wife: Violet Marie Haag; 2 sons: Jack Haag and Dick Haag and 2 sisters. Visitation will be from Noon - 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Homme Services will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home with Brother Bud Owen officiating.
