John "Jack" K. Feagler age 77 of Garrett, IN died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Parkview Hospital - Fort Wayne, IN. Jack was born April 5, 1933 in Garrett, IN to Virgil and Maxine (Owens) Feagler and they preceded him in death. Jack married Marilyn F. Bianski on February 23, 1957 in Ege, IN and she survives in Garrett, IN. Jack worked in production at Peter Eckrich Meats - Ft. Wayne and Tower Automotive - Auburn, IN retiring in 1998. He worked after retirement at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN and the G-K-B Schools - Garrett, IN. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the Army-Airborne. He was a member of the Garret American Legion and Eagles and St. Joseph Catholic Church - Garrett, IN. Surviving is his wife: Marilyn F. Feagler; sons: Dan (Robyn) Feagler; Mark Feagler; and Jed Feagler all of Garrett, IN and 3 daughters: Joni (Bob) Cole; Kathy (Brad) Johnson and Mary Kay (Brian) Cook all of Garrett, IN. Jack is survived by 11 grandchildren,3 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. He has 2 sisters surviving: Kerin (Larry) Houser, Cape Coral, FL and Kay Oster, Garrett, IN. Jack was preceded in death by his parents: Virgil and Maxine Feagler and a brother: Denny Feagler. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church - Garrett, IN with Fr. Andrew Nazareth officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery - Garrett, IN with Military Graveside Honors by the Garrett American Legion and VFW. Memorials are to the Denny Feagler Scholarship Fund, Masses at St. Joseph Church or St. Joseph Catholic School.
