Judy A. Kovara, age 61 of Garrett, IN passed away peacefully at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home at 10:13 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. She was born August 28, 1947 in Yonkers, NY to Luis F. and Helen A. (Iannetti) Hyde. She was a supervisor at Verizon, retiring in 2007. A gathering of family and friends will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home, with a service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Garrett, IN. Memorials are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home or Donor's choice. Survivors include her father, Louis F. Hyde of Garrett, IN; 2 brothers, Richard and Kathleen Hyde of Garrett, IN and Joseph and Lori Hyde of Corunna, IN. 2 sisters, Margaret R. Hyde of Fort Wayne, IN and Patricia and Jim Duguid of Huntington, IN. She is also survived by her loving companion, Tod Kovara of Fort Wayne, IN.
