Kathleen M. Hull age 81 of Long Beach Lake-Fremont, IN, died at 7:15 a.m. April 1, 2009 in Garrett, IN. She was born on May 4, 1927 in Pittsburg, PA to Charles and Edna Sand. She was a proof reader for R.H. Donnley. She was a tool crib attendant and president of the United Steel Workers Union at Clevite Corp. in Angola, retiring in 1996. Surviving are 3 daughters, Kathleen Raske of Angola, IN; Edna Hall of Garrett, IN; and Patricia Kitchen of Pittsburg, PA. 2 sons, Samuel F. Hull Jr. of Fremont, IN and Howard C. McHale of Auburn, IN. and a sister, LaVerne Tiani of Round Lake, IL. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel Hull Sr., brother Junior Sand and a sister Rita James. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home with a service at Noon Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Sue Socha, with burial to follow in Jamestown Cemetery in Fremont, IN. Memorials are to Parkview Hospice.
