Kent M. Bowman, age 54, of Garrett, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Byron Health Center in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born July 17, 1959 in Kendallville to Robert and Janet (Malcolm) Bowman Jr. Kent had been an engineer for the CSX. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Robert and Linda Bowman of Garrett; his daughter, Danna Held of Kendallville; and his two brothers, Terry (Tammy) Bowman of Garrett and Jerry (Sandy) Bowman of Carmel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Bowman in 1996. There will be no services.
