Kevin J. Snook, 51 of Garrett, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Wesley Healthcare in Auburn, IN. He was born August 24, 1958 in Garrett to Gerry G. and Mary Jane (Shuff) Snook. He married Patty Conn July 12, 1996 in Auburn. Kevin was a bartender at Martin's Tavern in Garrett. He was a member of the Garrett Eagles. Kevin is survived by his wife, Patty Snook of Garrett; father, Gerry G. Snook of Garrett; step daughter, Deadra Hays of Garrett; brother, Steven Snook and Timothy (Christy) Snook of Garrett; sister, Sharon (Mack) Short of Auburn and step grandchildren, Gwen and Noah Hays of Garrett. He was preceded in death by his mother, brother, Michael Snook and sister, Patrish Snook. There will be a gathering for family and friends on Saturday, October 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Garrett. Memorials are to the family c/0 Thomas Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
