Kevin E. Wilkinson, age 49, of Garrett, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born April 11, 1965 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Gerald and Eleanor (Molzan) Wilkinson and they survive in Kingsville, Ontario. He married Kimberly F. Winter on June 27, 1992 in Allen Park, MI and she survives in Garrett. He became a US Citizen in February 2003. He was a member of NIARC (Northeastern Indiana Amateur Radio Club), ARRL (Amateur Radio Relay League) and Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garret. Also surviving is a brother, David Wilkinson of Kingsville, Ontario; two sisters, Kathy Massong of Essex, Ontario and Arlene Wilkinson of Bloomington, Ontario. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Allen Wilkinson. Kevin donated his body to the Complex for Forensic Anthropology Research in Carbondale, IL. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garrett with calling 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers memorials are to Fort Wayne Seminary Scholarship Fund, Lutheran Missionary Fund-Jeffrey Horn or Zion Circle of Mercy.
