Lawrence J. Lauer age 87 of Ft. Wayne, IN died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Hearth at Sycamore Village – Ft. Wayne, IN. "Larry" was born August 9, 1930 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Paul A. and Florence (Becker) Lauer. He was a graduate of South Side High School and the Indiana School of Business and served in the Army during the Korean War. Larry enjoyed a successful business career and investing in the stock market was his hobby. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his bright smile and his love for animals.

Surviving are his sons, Charlie and Dan (Tanya) of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Cindy (Jennifer Kline) Lauer of Sharpsburg, GA. along with grandchildren, Eric and Alexa Lauer. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lauer; son, Tommy; brothers, Richard Lauer and Kenneth Lauer and sisters, Margaret Sherlock, Mary Alice Burns and Phyllis ("Fifi") Traylor.

Family and friends are invited to share food, drinks and memories on March 10, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Hall's Factory Restaurant (5811 Coldwater Rd. Fort Wayne IN).
