She was born February 9, 1924 in Woodburn, IN to Ezra and Elsie M. (Rediger) Shanebeck. She married George Wayne Dancer on May 10, 1942 in Woodburn, IN and he survives in Leo, IN. Lenore was a homemaker. Lenore is survived by her husband:George Wayne Dancer, Leo, IN; 4 sons: Roger (Virginia) Dancer, Avilla, IN; Jeffery (Debra) Dancer, Walled Lake, MI;Timothy (Catherine) Dancer, Swanton, OH; Matthew (Deanna)Dancer, Tok, AK; and a daughter: Kristie (Michael) Prater, Rome City, IN. A sister: Eleanor (Harold)Zook,Leo,IN; brother in-law:Theodore Unsicker, Lake George, Coldwater, MI; 12 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents: Ezra and Elsie M. Shanebeck, sister: Mary Unsicker and brother: Herbert Shanebeck Visitation will take place from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN and from 9-10 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church Garrett, IN. Services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at the First Baptist Church - Garrett, IN with Rev. David Mix officiating. Burial will take place in Roselawn Cemetery - Auburn, IN.
