Linda K. Gradeless August 4, 1947 - June 7, 2014 Linda K. Gradeless age 66 of Garrett, IN died Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital - Fort Wayne, IN. She was born August 4, 1947 in Auburn, IN to Don and Edna I. (Fike) Schulthess. She married David L. Gradeless on June 29, 1996 in Auburn, IN and he died July 9, 1999. Linda was a member of the Garrett American Legion Auxiliary, serving as president for 10 years and a member of the Red Hat Society. She worked as a secretary at Attorney Levin-James, retiring in 1999. Linda is Survived by her fiancAC.: Jim Scanlon, Garrett, IN; a son: Jeffrey (Cheri) Smith, Ft. Wayne, IN and 2 daughters: Amy Long, Ft. Wayne, IN and Ginger Lewis, Slaughter, LA. 5 Grandchildren survive: Eric Smith, Chicago, IL; Hailey Smith, Ft. Wayne, IN; Kayla Long, Slaughter, LA; Kilee Long, Slaughter, LA and Saveah Long, Ft. Wayne, IN and a great granddaughter: Chanel Williams, Slaughter, LA. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Donna Schulthess, Garrett, IN and Tammy Schulthess, Milpitas, CA. Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home - Garrett, IN Services will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home.
