L. Kathryn Stoll age 95 of Avilla, IN and formerly of Huntertown died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Parkview Noble Hospital – Kendallville, IN. She was born July 7, 1922 in Wolcottville, IN to Ferman D. and Angelia B. (Butler) Fiandt Sr. She married Leroy O. Stoll on March 18, 1943 in Garrett, IN and he passed on December 24, 2006. L. Kathryn worked as a deli clerk at the White Swan IGA.

She was a charter member of Our Hope Lutheran Church – Huntertown, IN. Kathryn is survived by her son: James Roy Stoll, Albion, IN; daughter: Sharon Kay (David) Byerley, Avilla, IN; 3 granddaughters: Michelle Grim Ft. Wayne, IN; Melissa Byerley, Bloomington, IN; Nicole Springer, Ossian, IN; great grandchildren: Riley, Mariah, Emily, Tyler, and Andrea Grim, Ft. Wayne, IN; Gavin and Zoey Adienge, Bloomington, IN and sister: Betty Nelson, LaGrange, IN.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Leroy O. Stoll; parents: Ferman D. and Angelia B. Fiandt Sr.; brother: Ferman Fiandt Jr.; daughter in-law: Ann M. Stoll; sisters: Ruth Olinger and Marjorie Holt.

Visitation will take place from 4-8 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN and from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Our Hope Lutheran Church – Huntertown, IN

Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Our Hope Lutheran Church, 1826 Trinity Dr., Huntertown, IN 46748 with Pastor Joe Fichtner officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery – Ft. Wayne, IN
