Lorraine B. Beber, 68 of Garrett, IN died on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Garrett. She was born May 18, 1941 in Hartford City, IN to LeRoy S. and Grace (Matlin) Sprowl. She worked at Stanadyne in Garrett until its closing and was a waitress at Gottfried's in Garrett for many years. Survivors include her sons; Randall and Sue Beber of Kennesaw, GA and Clay and Melinda Beber of Fort Wayne, IN. She has three daughters survivng; Serena and Larry Vanderpool of Garrett, Pam and Larry Ley of Fort Wayne and Shelley Thews and her companion Dean Shipe of Ashley. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Dunn of Bradington, FL, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, LeRoy Sprowl. There will be no calling. A celebration of life will be held at the Garrett Eagles on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 1-5 p.m.
