Lorraine Faye Reuck, 75 of Elbert Co. died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019 at 10:50p.m. at Liberty Heights Assisted Living Facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Lorraine was born February 29, 1944, at Randolph Air Base, San Antonio, Texas to Lyle and Margaret (Roberson) Tarlton. She was raised in Garrett, Indiana, and graduated from Garrett High School in 1962. Additionally, she attended Indiana University where she met her future husband, Bill.
Lorraine married William F. Reuck, Dec. 22, 1963. They, then, lived in Bloomington, Indiana, San Angelo Texas, Misawa, AFB, Japan, Ft, Meade Maryland, Glen Burnie Maryland, and Elbert, Colorado, where they retired. Lorraine was an involved in numerous activities. She loved her many dogs, training and competing with them in obedience, agility, and conformation. Additionally, she loved taking her dogs to nursing homes and visiting with the residents and bring a bit of happiness to their lives. In her travels around the country showing and competing with the various dogs, Lorraine loved to visit the various historic sites and to collect rocks from each state. Her rock gardens in Colorado are filled with these rocks, they will always be a testament to her life.
Lorraine is survived by her loving husband Bill; Daughter, Lauralee McGuire (David) McGuire and grandson, Branden McGuire of Glen Burnie Maryland
Lorraine was preceded in death by her son William Alden Reuck, her parents Lyle and Margaret Tarlton.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Cedar Creek Cemetery, rural Garrett, Indiana at 10:a.m. Tuesday Sept. 3, 2019. Condolences may be directed to www.thomasfuneralhome.org. Local arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 CR 56, Garrett.
