M. LeNore Lewis, age 79 of Garrett, IN died on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home. She was born on February 14, 1928 in Garrett, IN to Sherman and Grace M. (Brown) Lewis. She was a lifetime Garrett resident. She was a Physical Education and Health Teacher and later a Guidance Counselor at Garrett High School for 35 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Garrett Church of Christ. There will be no calling. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials are to the Garrett Public Library Foundation. Survivors include: Brother - Sherman Lewis of North Port, FL Sisters - Elaine Kizer and Winifred Johnston of Garrett, IN Sister - Jessica Moses of Findley, OH Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by: Parents Brothers - William, Beryl, Meryl and Clyde Lewis Sister - Lavon Lewis
