Mabel Pearl Worman, age 90 of Garrett, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 6:36 a.m. She had been a resident at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn since 2007. She was born February 7, 1922 in Bohon, KY to the late Henry and Sophronia (Adams) Lewis. She married Henry E. Worman on June 3, 1944 in Garrett and he died on March 15, 1988. Mabel had attended County Line Church of God. She is survived by two daughters; JoAnn (Mike) VanAken of Garrett and Peggy (Bill) Maki of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Goldie Quinn and Christine Perry. There will be no services. Burial will take place in Cedar Creek Cemetery at a later date.
