Marceille (Murley) Higgins, 95, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at her home in Garrett, IN. She was born on June 10, 1912 in Garrett and graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Ft. Wayne, and retired as a RN from Saint Mary's/Notre Dame. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1978. Surviving are her brother, Richard Murley of Garrett, her son John Higgins, daughter Anne Marie Higgins and grandson Patrick Higgins all of Ft. Wayne. A private family burial will be held in Christian Union Cemetery, Garrett, IN at a later date. Memorials are to St. Joseph Catholic School, Garrett Public Library and DeKalb Memorial Home Health Services.
