Marcella Duguid age 91 of Garrett, IN and formerly of Fremont, IN died at 12 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Miller's Merry Manor – Garrett, IN. Marcella was born November 28, 1926 in Noble County to Kenneth K. and Gladys A. (McCoy) Scheurich.  She was a graduate of Avilla High School – class of 1947. She married Clifton Duguid on December 24, 1969 in Avilla, IN and he died March 6, 1988. She was a farmer with her husband for 20 years, retiring in 1982

Marcella is survived by 2 sisters: Evelyn Steward, Garrett, IN and Alene Cramer, Ft. Wayne, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth K. and Gladys A. Scheurich; 3 brothers: Maynard Scheurich, Russell Scheurich, her twin brother – Marion Scheurich; and sister: Veda Stout.

Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Ray Covenanter Cemetery – northeast of Fremont, IN. in Ray, IN with Pastor Jan Dimick of the Garret United Methodist Church officiating.
