She was born August 23, 1947 in Fort Wayne, IN to Jim and Marjorie (Books) Kumffer and they preceded her in death. She married Carlus D. Butler on June 20, 1970 in Fort Wayne; IN. Marcia worked as an assembler at Dana – Churubusco, IN for 22 years.

Marcia is survived by her husband: Carlus D. Butler, Garrett, IN; son: Shane Butler, LaOtto, IN; daughter: Kimberly Butler, Garrett, IN; 1 grandchild; brother: Steve Kumffer, Fort Wayne, IN; sisters: Kathy Kumffer, Warsaw, IN and Trudy.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June23, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev David Mix officiating.

Burial will follow in Swan Cemetery – LaOtto, IN
