Margaret M. Griffin age 86 of Garrett, IN died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center – Ft. Wayne, IN. Margaret was born May 14, 1929 in Kendallville, IN to Edward C. and Julia (Hass) Muesing. She married Harry D. Griffin on June 28, 1953 in Kendallville, IN and he died in 1966. She was a human resource administrator at Tokheim in Fort Wayne, IN for over 40 years, retiring in October 1999. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church – Garrett, IN and Tri Kappa Sorority. Margaret is survived by 2 daughters: Sue (Michael) Pries, Fort Wayne, IN and Cindy Griffin, Huntington Beach, CA; 1 son: Tim (Rachael) Griffin, Andover, KS and 3 grandchildren: Alana Pries, Fort Wayne, IN; Abbey Griffin and Briana Griffin, both of Andover, KS. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband: Harry D. Griffin, parents: Edward C. and Julia Muesing, brother: Robert Muesing and a half-sister: Eleanor Schuman. Visitation will be from Noon – 2 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church – Garrett, IN. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church with Pastor Andrew Yeager officiating.
