Marilyn was born March 10, 1949 in Fort Wayne, IN to William F. and Kathleen (Brenizer) Edwards. She married Daniel L. Maloney Sr. on April 26, 1969 in Fort Wayne, IN.

Marilyn is survived by her husband: Daniel L. Maloney Sr., Butler, IN; father: William F. Edwards, FT. Wayne, IN; 6 sons: Daniel (Laura) Maloney Jr., Coldwater, MI; Timothy Maloney, Auburn, IN; William (Emily) Maloney, Auburn, IN; Patrick Maloney, Auburn, IN; Andrew (Amy) Maloney, Auburn, IN; Anthony (Teri) Maloney, Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: twin sister – Carolyn Umbaugh, Marathon, FL; Kathy Girardot, Ft. Wayne, IN; Dianna Cole, Seattle, WA; step sisters: Julie Bobay, Ft. Wayne, IN; Candance Fritz, Ft. Wayne, IN; step brother: Mark Fritz, Ft. Wayne, IN.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother: Kathleen Fritz; brother: Mike Edwards; step brother: Jeff Fritz

Visitation will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Marcus Carlson officiating.

Burial will take place in Christian Union Cemetery – Garrett, IN
