Marilynn M. (Southern) Fulk, 86 of LaOtto, IN died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born August 23, 1922 in Fort Wayne, IN to Ralph and Mabel (Ormiston) Southern, they preceded her in death. She married Hugh E. Fulk Sr. on June 21, 1941 in LaOtto, IN and he died January 18, 2004. Marilynn was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in LaOtto, the churches Ladies Aide and Noble County Extension Homemakers. Marilynn is survived by 2 sons and a daughter in-law, Hugh Fulk Jr. of Wagoner, OK and David and Shirley Fulk of Kendallville, IN. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a sister Gwendolyn Sheets of Kendallville, IN. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Garrett, with Pastor Susan Socha officiating. Burial will follow in Eel River Cememtery in Churubusco, IN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
