Marion S. Gerber age 83 of Garrett, IN died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in Garrett, IN. She was born May 17, 1928 in Churubusco, IN to Lodie Ray and Eve (Richards) Freeman. She married James R. Gerber on March 5, 1949 in Churubusco, IN and he survives in Garrett. Marion was a production worker at County Line Cheese and Magnavox, retiring on May 31, 1990. Marion is also survived by her son, Zane H. Gerber of Kendallville and daughter, Roxanna S. Chapman of Anchor Point, Alaska; her brother, Wilbur Freeman of Marion, IN and her sister, Laura Shank of Churubusco, IN. There will be no services or visitation.
