Mary C. Able, 79, of Fort Wayne, IN and formerly of Garrett, IN died on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Parkview Hospital. She was born on December 10, 1928 in Peru, IN. Her parents were Harry and Helen Clark and they preceded her in death. She married David T. Able on November 8, 1947 in South Whitley, IN and he died on July 7, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Garrett, IN. Services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, with calling 1 hour prior. Pastor Phil Mortensen will officiate. Burial will follow in South Whitley Cemetery. Memorials are to the Ft. Wayne Miller's Merry Manor Activities Department.
