Mary Jane Snook, 67 of Garrett, IN died on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at her residence. She was born on June 1, 1940 in St. Joe, IN to Harry and Lula (Lutz) Shuff, they preceded her death. She married Gerry G. Snook on March 28, 1958 in St. Joe, IN and he survives. She worked at Essex in Auburn, IN until it's closing and then worked at Renisance in Auburn, IN until her retirement in 2002. She was a member of the Garrett Presbyterian Church, Women of Moose Lodge #261 in Auburn, IN, Garrett VFW Auxillary Post #1892, Garrett American Legion Auxillary Post #178, Garrett Eagles Post # 1357 and the Elks Lodge # 1016 of Effingham, IL. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Thomas Funeral Home, Garrett, IN. The funeral service wiil be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 10:30 am at the funeral home with Pastor Eddie Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Union Cememtery.
