Mary Helen Vauris age 91 of Garrett, Indiana died Friday, July 3, 2009 in Clermont, Florida. She was born March 3, 1918 in Garrett to Charles and Helen (Loftus) Carlin and they preceded her in death. She married Howard Leon Vauris in 1936 and he died in 1980. She worked for Dr. John Harvey for many years and was a lifetime area resident. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law - Richard B. (Travis)Vauris, Clermont, Florida. 2 brothers and 1 sister survive - Charles (Pat) Carlin, South Bend, Indiana; Joe (Marty) Carlin, Gaylord, Michigan and Sally Ridlen, Fort Wayne, IN. Mary was also survived by 2 granddaughters: Ann (Mark)Francis, Centerville, OH and Elizabeth (Tim) Miller, Troy, OH. Surviving are 2 great granddaughters - Tori and Julia Francis and a great grandson - Kellen Miller A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN 46738 with Fr.
