Melody J. Combs age 52 of Garrett, IN died Monday morning, October 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 7, 1966 in Ft. Wayne, IN to James L. and Betty L. (Hollinger) McKeever. Melody married Claude "Jr." Combs on July 17, 1987 in LaOtto, IN. She was a homemaker and attended the Grabill Missionary Church.

Melody is survived by her husband: Claude "Jr." Combs, Garrett, IN; son: Rudy Combs, Garrett, IN; mother: Betty L. McKeever, Garrett, IN; sister: Kay (Lon) Fritz, LaOtto, IN; granddaughter: Addalynn Hubbard, Garrett, IN

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Gary  Gates  from Grabill Missionary Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery, rural Auburn, IN.
