Merrill A. Miller, age 85 of Ft. Wayne, IN, and formerly of Garrett and North Manchester, IN died at 9:45 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2007 at Parkview North Hospital - Ft. Wayne, IN Merrill was born November 3, 1921 in Silver Lake, IN to Glen A. and Ruth A. (Deaton) Miller and they preceded him in death. Merrill was a welder at Fruehauf Trucking in Ft. Wayne, IN for 31 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Monroeville, IN and the American Legion Post #47 in Ft. Wayne, IN and the VFW. He was a WW II Army Air Corp. veteran. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. , Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Thomas Funeral Home Services will be at 6 p.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Thomas Funeral Home, with military honors at 6:30 p.m. Officiating will be Gary Cooper Memorials to: Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund (Honoring the Sons and Daughters of America's Fallen Heroes) Survivors Include: Son and Daughter In-Law - Randy and Kelly Miller, Indianapolis, IN Son and Daughter In-Law - David and Carol Miller, Crossville, TN Daughter and Son In-Law - Vicki and Eric Hodge, Ft.
