Michael P. Nodine age 63 of Garrett, IN died Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at his home. He was born January 24, 1951 in Garrett, IN to Glen G. and Patricia A. (Rhodes) Nodine and they preceded him in death. He married Mary Jane Jones on April 16, 1974 in Garrett, IN and she survives in Garrett, IN. He served in the Marines from 1968-1970.He worked in production at Cooper Standard in Auburn, IN for 33 years, retiring in 2006. Michael is survived by his wife: Mary Jane Nodine and a son: Todd Nodine, both of Garrett, IN. He is survived by a grandson: Bryce Nodine and a granddaughter: London Nodine, all of Garrett. A brother: Jon Nodine, Butler, IN and 2 sisters: Cynthia DeWitt and Ralana Pontius, of Garrett, IN He was preceded in death by his parents: Glen and Patricia Nodine and a grandson: Preston Nodine. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials are to the Thomas Funeral Home or the family to assist with expenses.
