Nancy G. Schurr, 77 of Garrett, died on Friday, March 15, 2013 at Wesley Health Care in Auburn. She was born April 23, 1935 in Huntington to the late Gerald and Arlou (Harold) Dye. Surviving are 3 daughters, Sabrina (Jose) Rios of Middlebury, IN; Sabra (Jason) Ross of Goshen, IN; Shawn (Nate) Parks of Oviedo, FL; a son, Kirk Schurr of Garrett; a brother, Jim (Gloria) Dye of Huntington; a sister, Gene (Roy) Rice of Winter Springs, FL; 13 grandchildren, Amber (Don) Hernandez of Fort Wayne, Jeremy Sleeper of Middlebury, Justin Ross of Middlebury, Jason Schurr of Auburn, Cortney Roby of Auburn, Matt (Lisa) Foster of Avilla, Brooke (Jimmy) DePew of LaGrange, Jami Foster of Ashley, Austin Foust of Middlebury, Katrina Rios of Middlebury, Nathan Rios of Angola and Ashley and Cody Parks of Oviedo, FL; 11 great grandchildren, Zadian and Zoey Sleeper of Middlebury, Asher Hernandez of Fort Wayne, Alexis McNamara of Auburn, Taylor, Tori, Shae and Jadyn Foster of Avilla, Mikayla DePew of LaGrange, Jorydn Schwartz of Ashley and Bradynn Roby of Auburn. A private family service will be held at a later date. Thomas Funeral Home of Garrett is assisting the family with arrangements.
