Ned Owen Ternet age 64 of LaOtto, IN died Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center – Ft. Wayne, IN, Ned was born August 18, 1958 in Kendallville, IN to Clifford and Helen (Lewis) Ternet. He married Susan R. Rosenberg on October 26, 2013 in Garrett, IN and she survives in LaOtto. Ned worked in construction and was a firefighter with both Garrett and LaOtto at different times in his life.

Ned was a member of Living Waters Church – Garrett, IN.; Masonic Lodge and the LaOtto and Garrett Fire Departments

Ned is survived by his wife: Susan Ternet, LaOtto, IN, Son: Josh (Taylor) Ternet, LaOtto, IN; Daughters: Tiffany (Nicholas) Lawson, Garrett, IN; Monica Ternet, Garrett, IN; Christi (Brian) Hall, Greensburg, KY and son: Dustin Hoffman, LaOtto, IN; 12 grandchildren, 3 brothers: Jack Ternet, Neal  Ternet, his twin brother Ted Ternet; 2 sisters: Kathy Stroman and Carol Ternet.

Ned was preceded in death by his parents": Clifford and Helen Ternet and brother: Bill Ternet.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN

A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home with Pastor Brett Stillwell officiating.
