Nick York age 55 of Corunna, IN passed at home with his mother and father by his side on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 6:12 a.m.

Nick was born January 30, 1970 in Italy to Kent and Anita (Johnson) York.

Nick was a retired Pipefitter from Local Union #166 with 30 years of service.

He loved the outdoors, deer hunting, mushroom hunting, and fishing.

Nick is survived by his son: Evan York, Garrett, IN; parents: Kent and Anita York; Corunna, IN;  brother: Joe and Michelle York, Auburn, IN

Visitation will take place from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home – 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Isenbarger officiating.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery- Garrett, IN

Memorials are to the DeKalb County Humane Society, St. Joseph Catholic School, or Masses.
