Nikki J. Bowman age 66 of Garrett, IN died Monday, December 22, 2014 at her home. She was born June 7, 1948 in Hartford City, IN to Bee and Melba J. (Jones) Houston and they preceded her in death. Nikki worked in accounting at Cooper Standard in Auburn, IN for 15 years, retiring in 2011. She was a member of New Life House of Worship - Garrett, IN Nikki is survived by a daughter and a son: Lisa Riecke and Max Gregory Jr. both of Garrett, IN. She is survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a brother: Benny Houston, Markle, IN Nikki was preceded in death by her parents: Bee and Melba J. Houston; 2 brothers: Dale Houston and Les Houston and a sister: Rebecca Houston. A service will take place at 12 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home, 1277 C.R. 56, Garrett, IN with Pastor J.C. Banks Jr. officiating.
