Nora Hatton age 81 of LaOtto, IN died on Friday, October 30, 2009 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born April 29, 1928 in Breathit County, Kentucky to James C. and Fannie (Little) Harmon. She married Ben Hatton Jr. on May 10, 1947 and he died December 26, 1999. Nora was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She is survived by 4 daughters; Wanda Swonger of Helmer, IN, Kathleen and Larry Rusher of Fort Wayne, IN, Debra and Robert Leeman of Kendallville, IN and Carrie and Leif Smedberg of Garrett, IN. 5 sons, Ben Hatton, John Hatton, James and Kerri Hatton, Dean and Telicia Hatton and Lloyd and Lois Hatton all of Garrett; her brother Junior Harmon of Kokomo, IN and 3 sisters, Kathleen Ousley of Ashley, IN, Flora Handshoe of Kendallville, IN and Carrie Shepard of Kalamazoo, MI. Also survivng are 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons - Donald and Robert Hatton, son in-law - Dale Swonger, brothers - Arthur, Floyd, Robert and Thomas Harmon a sister - Hazel Harmon and 1 grandchild. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Garrett. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Forrest VanGundy officiating. Burial will follow in Swan Cemetery in LaOtto, IN. Memorials are to Riley Children's Hospital
